The huge land mass evident in the Northern parts of the country is unavoidably responsible for the high voter count usually gotten from that part of the country through its population figure 1 Like |

The north only has political advantage today due to afonja mumuslims. Landmass doesn't always equate population, the day a courageous southern president institutes electronic voting, the scam of northern population will end. Plateau, Benue,Southern Kaduna,Taraba,Parts of Adamawa have not always voted with the muslim north. 5 Likes |

Imagine a state in the North Central part of Nigeria equating the five states making up the South Eastern part in terms of Land Mass. Meanwhile ,most areas with huge land mass doesn't gets developed on time due to its size. |

Wigetsolar: Yes, you are correct referring to the Law of diminishing returns- within a limited space. Which may not be applicable in this regard because the availability of Land space provides confidence to proceed on agricultural goods (Production). Moreso, even in the South Western part of our grandfathers, it was because of increased productivity of farm inputs that they married more wives and gave birth to more children that will assist in the farms...hence increased population 1 Like 1 Share |

The North Nigeria will always have advantage politically because the administration of Nigerian was handled to them by our colonists. Moreover, the northern kwns how to play politics very well, not the politics of hate that's been played in the East & Western Nigeran. 3 Likes |

Wow! Look at Niger state's land mass. I served in Minna, Niger state. So, I decided to visit Kebbi State capital(Birnin Kebbi) where my friend served. Kebbi was a neighbouring state. To my surprise , I spent about six and half hours from Minna to Birnin kebbi . Minna---Kontagora(2hrs)------Yauri(2 and half hours)----Birnin Kebbi(about 2hrs). Neighbouring state oOo Mods ,let this hit the front page, so that we can get others perception. 4 Likes 1 Share |

Kenplay: Unity in the south-south, east & West to wrestle power from the north. Dividing Nigeria can never be a way forward, even if Nigeria is divided, the citizens of each republic still have the default Nigeria mentality of corruption & financial embezzlement. |
