Great Economies around the world are powered by financial houses in those economies; Nigeria's case seems so absurd; where good business are not being funded by the finance houses.

@wordapple, i dont think MiVEP is being reasonable with their loans. how can they ask us to pay 16.67% x 2 of the total sum u want, and then provide for them 6 people that also needs loans, without which they cannot give u a loan? can u imagine paying over 50,000 because u want a N300,000 loan? this is ridiculous, or what do u think fellow nairalanders?

I wouldn't have anything to do with anybody who makes that kind of offer, if I were you! If they wanted security in the form of a non-monetary asset, that is understandable . . . . but asking someone to pay a percentage of the loan they want is completely ridiculous. Asking for verifiable proof that a percentage contribution from the fundseeker to the funds sought exists in a bank account makes sense to me, and is the usual practice in 'non-dodgy deals'  .  . . . and the requirement to bring six other potential 'mugus'? ? ? Utterly ridiculous!  angry
