Amaechi, in a statement on Saturday, said that the $500 million loan was collected during the regime of former president, Goodluck Ebele Azikiwe Jonathan and not in the government of President Muhammadu Buhari.

Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi has stated that Nigerian government has the capability to pay back loans collected for the construction of rail projects within the stipulated period of 20 years, but that the loan was not collected by the present government as claimed by many. Torixus reports.

Amaechi, in a statement on Saturday, also said that the Chinese government are the only rich country in the world that can give out loans with a very low interest rate of 2.8 percent. And that’s why the last Government proceeded.

“The 500 million dollars was not taken by us, it was taken by President Goodluck Jonathan in his term and that clause was there.

“Nigeria has the capacity to pay back for the period of 20 years at 2.8 per cent, which country will give you that loan? Secondly, these loans are not given to us, they are paid directly to the contractors.

The minister also said that the Nigerian government has paid 96 million Dollars already and will complete the full payment before the next 20 years.

“We are paying the loans. In the same National Assembly sitting, they were told that of the 500million dollars loan, we have paid 96 million dollars already, Nigeria is already paying.

Shildren of 8, anger, perdition and frustration, here comes yet another golden opportunity to brutally tongue lash Rotimi Ameachi, Tinubu and Buhari even though the assertion can't be debunked.

Even though the $500m deal was signed by Gej, let us simply assume that is the money Tinubu parked in "the bullion van". This is to create a conducive platform to mercilessly insult Tinubu down to his forefather.

By so doing, Donald Trump will force Buhari out of Aso Rock so athifku can become the president. undecided

And when we say you are working projects initiated by Jonathan and halfway completed by him, you all begin to rant .APC is a waste. You have gone ahead to borrow billions more on projects already paid for by Jonathan.

The loan that you guys are wailing about was signed by Ngozi Okonjo Iweala during the Jonathan presidency and that is what this thread is all about. Stop trying to muddle up the issue.

Playing to the gallery as expected. He signed the loan contract since 2013/2014 and refused to do anything about it because there was no loophole for looting the funds. Buhari became president in 2015 and immediately started the process of implementing the contract agreement. He paid the full FG counterpart funds for the projects and work started. That’s the difference between Jonsthan and Buhari.

Your brain should have tell you that if Nigeria is to work by approved projects, we wouldn't have been here today. Is about execution and that is where this administration is far better than the previous ones.
Few days ago you people were busy shouting " buhari has mortgage your future by such loan agreement but now that you are aware that the loan was signed during Jonathan era, you are looking for exit route again.

The State Of $470 Million Abuja CCTV Cameras & Solar Panel Backups 6 Months After Installation

These photos were taken 6-months after a Chinese firm, ZTE Corporation, reportedly completed the installation of Close Circuit Television Cameras (CCTV) in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja.

The contract was awarded to the Chinese company for $470 million and under the Umaru Yar'adua regime. The contract amount was reportedly increased by President Goodluck Jonathan.

However, a few months later the cameras and the solar panels installed to back them up have fallen apart.

Leave Amaechi alone. Buhari is the monster of this regime. Amaechi and co are still feeling the heat of his pathetic embarrassment. But there's nothing they can do about him until 2023. So sad for this country.
