The later is the one commonly used in the treatment of malaria in Nigeria and it's still affordable as low as 500 naira per card.

That pharmacy sell the cheapest hydroxychloroquine.. quote me anywhere.

I went to a pharmacy near my area in June and it was 10,000. The pharmacist even said he also got it expensive, dt they normally get it from local manufacturers for N500 in the past. He said it wasn't even available & he had to buy it from a reliable source. That there's a lot of fakes in the market since the companies stopped distributing.

OP, please write an official complaint (email or hard copy) to the FCCPC (Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission) they'll sweep in on the matter.
