Hello Everyone reading this... This is Sylvafoods Nigeria Ltd, we are major foodstuff supplier and distributors in Nigeria. To start with, we haven't exported to any country overseas, but will like to take that bold step this year. Just recently, an international company from Hamburg in Germany contacted us to supply large quantity of fresh ginger. Also, we have established trust with this company based on our previous rapport and online presence. This message on the pics below was sent to me earlier today and I don't even know what to answer since am a novice when it comes to export. "I beg export expert in agriculture section of Nairaland, I need help" Please give suitable response to this questions below... How many bags fits on the pallet? How many pallets are in the container? I need the total net weight. Can you also provide the CIF price to Hamburg and Koper?

Ginger is packed in 40kg bags (40+1kg). 750 bags for a 30 ton container |

ATTAHDYE:Thank you for the swift response, I WS told that fresh ginger are exported in palettes not bags to avoid spoilage. Any idea of how many bag can fill a palette? |

Help4rmme2u: I am used to dry ginger. But from what I saw online, fresh ginger is packed in 13.6 kg box (30lbs) A 40kg bag will give you about 3 box. |
