Wizkid whose real name is Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun is a popular Nigerian Music Star who rose to stardom after being signed to Banky W’s E.M.E. Record Label in 2009.



After which he went ahead to release his first hit song titled “Holla at Your Boy” a year later; which brought him to fame.



The release of Wizkid’s “Holla at Your Boy” opened so many doors, and recognition for him, and that also made him a household name in Nigeria.

A few years after his first hit song, Wizkid went ahead to release more hits which cemented his name among the Top award-winning African Artistes, became a certified hit-maker and got a fanbase which identifies themselves as Wizkid FC.

With all the love that we have for Wizkid, we believe that Wizkid might be going down the lane in his music career.

The star promised to release his album on the 17th of July 2020 but got all his eagerly waiting fans totally disappointed as no album was released.

Many have asked if Wizkid is still in the music line or if he has gone into fashion.

The problem with Nigerians and wizkid music is ..when he drops a fab song with great lyrics they say its dry ...then he drops Walicha o we Walicha and they say its pangolo lyrics...
His new single smile with h.e.r for me is the best Nigerian song I've heard this year after Burna's wonderful and Omah Lay's damn ...its quality lyrics great delivery and its doing well on the charts , billboard r & b charts it's on no 15 , no Nigerian song has made it to that chart before except come closer and now smile both by wizkid ...his Brown skin girl feature earned him a bet in a category never won by any Nigerian ..it's by far the most successful track on the gift album ..
One thing Nigerians don't know is that cos a song isn't playing in every beer parlour in your street and the danfo drivers and conductors are not jamming to it doesn't make it not a hit... if you're waiting for wiz to be singing pakurumo for streets boiz , you go wait taya ....

Wiz is not going down any lane, he does'nt need to drop an album to prove anything to anybody. Baba is on top of his game and expect him to last another 5 years on top.
