Please help. I'm using a Presario CQ56 Compaq laptop that's been driving me crazy.

It works normally when plugged and fresh. However, once it's unplugged or nepa siezes the light it automatically starts hanging like crazy such that I cannot even do the simplest of tasks.

I've also observed that this mostly happens when the computer is on for a while. Cos if it's hanging and I shut it down to rest for some hours, if I put it back on it'll work fine for some few minutes.

But the hanging is majorly triggered when it's not plugged. Even repairer can't repair it.

I'm using it for business and it's driving me crazy cos there's no way I will tell my customer to wait for hours.

Please any one with any idea on what to do?

Its probably battery or something related to power output without outside supply in the system

Your battery isn't giving enough power to the laptop hardware to work well so it hangs (maybe)

Take it to a technician

If I tell you I've taken it to more than 2 technicians without result u won't believe. I've even increased the RAM. Yet nothing

Then sell it and get another lappy sir

I'll take this advise. Just surprised to see a problem this strange. Most people said they've never experienced this or heard of it before.
