In my own opinion, they are now underreporting deliberately to keep people calm before reopening the economy fully. How did Nigeria get over covid just like that with the crowds and little adherence to NCDC guidelines everywhere? They are underreporting now or they deliberately inflated the number tested and confirmed infection rate earlier to scam us because they know the 'covid' around here is not the very serious strain. Something is just not right because the way they were going at it before, we should be battling serious community infection by now.

The 11k+ (minus the 242) is the number of people that recovered from isolation at home; without been treated at isolation centers, from Day 1(when it started March) till yesterday. It's a cumulative figure.

In my own opinion i think they are only testing people who show some reasonable signs of the virus, as most of Nigeria cases are mild, reason for the reduction in cases. Remember Lagos is closing it isolation centres, Gombe is doing same.

Bullshit! So all this while they've been reporting 200 to 300+ of discharged patients and the number didn't rise, it was also cumulated figures?
This means you haven't been referencing past reports with the reports. If, going by your claim, we have been getting as much as 800 patients in total discharged in a single day we should be counting over 50k by now.
NCDC simply shot themselves in the leg and are trying to cover up with lame excuses.
