How to fix Microsoft Office 2010 error[i][/i].

You might be wondering why your Microsoft Excel, Word, or PowerPoint file does not open. It is because of incorrect file associations on your computer.

In case, you double click on any of these applications file (Microsoft Word, Excel or PowerPoint) and experience any of the problems listed below, then it means the file association is missing;

1.). The file icon is blank or displays an incorrect image.

2.) The file does not open.

3.) You receive this error message:

This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Create an association in the Folder Options control panel.

Here are simple ways to resolve these problems yourself.

1.). Click on the start button. Click in the search program on the file box.

2.). Type appwiz.cpl in the Search box, and then press Enter.

3.). Select the Microsoft Office 2010 suite you want to repair and then click Change.

4.). Select repair and click continue.

5.). Wait for the completion of the process and then click close.

6.). Click yes to restart your PC.
