Mine, during Xmas last year, I went for a short visit to my hometown, and decided to visit my brother in his workplace, I was late while returning (about 9:30), not, quite late but the road back home is usually devoid of life from around 7pm, it was dark also, so I put my phone at my rare pocket, while playing music, with earpiece connected.

I do not know that one of the hoodlum in the market has sighted me, and was trailing me, although I noticed someone following me, but I thought he may be going his way, so I just mind my business, until I noticed a faster move, but before I could turn back, his hand is on the phone in my pocket, I wrestled it with him, but he was holding a dagger, dangling it dangerously like he's gonna stab me, so I just let it go, cause I don't have any jazz against that lol.

The idiot collected the phone and ran into a nearby opening in the bush, and I went home dejected.

No one would dare it cos I have a very big God who is always by my side.

Twas a crazy experience. Travelled to the neighbouring state with my girlfriend. We had to return late. Bae was fretting about something I did or didn't do and she was getting on my nerves but I concentrated on the road. We entered our city and we were getting close to my street. Next thing was I saw two guys flashing torches just in the distance ahead . I was gradually easing the brakes coz I thought they were night guards, but then I spotted another guy coming out of the darkness with a shotgun, a cig glowing in between his lips. I'd be damned if I got mugged by boys who couldn't have the bravery to face me in the day time.

Mehn, I took all the pent up anger in me as I hit hard on the accelerator and sped towards them . I saw one of them jump into the drainage nearby, I bumped the second guy into the Bush,(he was foolish enough to think I'd brake at the last moment and not hit him ). As I was speeding off, the third guy took aim with his shotgun, the bullet literally sawed off my side mirror (I already thought I was dead when I heard the shot)
mehn, I had to do a Jason Statham with the car till we arrived home. I freaking overdosed on adrenaline that night. I Couldn't sleep a wink till dawn
By the way, auntie loved me harder and she stopped nagging after that event (at least for some weeks)

That was a lucky escape for you,thank goodness they were not with assault rifle(AK47) they would have sprayed your car,and it would have been worse. Congrats bro.

Have not really had worse attacks,only in 2010 that my phone was snatched.

Mine was a funny experience in Lagos around warehouse bus stop along the apapa/oshodi road leading to tincan island, i had gone to collect my admission money from an uncle which I will used to start up my registration, pay off camp apartments plus upkeep money....
The bus got spoilt at the warehouse bus top, just two bus/stops or so before you get to my own at coconut bus/stops around 9.30pm...next thing we see, the agberos there about 6 turn to robbers with clubs n machetes asking us all to be still and submit all we had....i begin shiver as people begin cry, shiver n pull out all they had..the road was also lonely now and dry....next thing a girl tap me as we were are the extreme of the fearful crowd n said lets run...i told her, you dey mad; she said, dem no hold gun n dat she cant afford to be raped here, instead let her die...omo before you go say jack,babe don Ben johnson...in the midst of that drama as her flight caused two of the agberos to chase her, na him I pick my own race.....can you believe I ran from warehouse bus stop till coconut bus top, eventually still running till I got home at my place in lawani street.....those in Lagos state would know this distance...I enter house n was breathing till midnite until my parents calm me down n i explain what happened.....instead of pitying me that my school money no go, na laugh dem begin laugh me dat nite for house...well na dem sabi....i was safe n my school money was safe....infact it was a race of life..

Was with my girlfriend in an open park in uyo at around 6:30pm.. Next thing am all two men came asking what we were doing here, in an open clear place o!.. one showed me and ID of an old police man and took away with a second, hevsaud am under arrest, that they are under commissioner of police's order to arrest anyone found in this park from 6pm.. now uyo is not a dangerous place and the park (presently Christmas village) litterally comes to life from 6:pm so we were among the first set of people...
So I laughed and told the guy, why didn't he arrest others? And why the police men that patrol the place greeted us when we came, the niggas were hefty.. one slapped me and yanked my hands into a handcuff.. mhen the slap was annoying.. quickly I pulled the handcuff before he could put the next hand. What was gapphappe was attracting the attention of people in the pack and across the park.. my girlfriend shouted kidnappers and in a gypsy two Hilux of of police were coming our way... One man ran while one was trying to get back the handcuff.. well a chance to return the slap he gave me moment's ago.. my handcuffed hand came drumming on his face and I was apeased... Long story short the guy was caught while the other one ran... I was proud of the NIGERIAN police at least that day .

It was scary, but I knew I'd be safe...

For all those who are sharing, I thank God for your life. Lots do not have the same privilege as you, they are long gone to the underworld. Life’ Just isn’t fair.

Mine happened March this year just before lockdown, when I was going for work very early in the morning, time should be 5.30/ 5.45am, Around Yabatech's bus stop, close to Jibowu ,as I was waiting for the bus going to Obalende with other commuters , a bike of 3 gang swooped on us, I didn't clearly understand what's going on because I was trying to stop a bus, until it became clear when one of them brought out a gun and pointed it to the guy beside me on the neck to drop his belongings, everyone ran away, the second guy came to me and said in a fierce and deep voice "Ogbeni gbé Bag wa jor" while already grabbing my bag which contained my little cash, sanitizer, my Nokia feature phone, power bank and pods, I was already freezing at that point, without even thinking, I just dragged the bag with him, collected it and took to my heels and in the process my phone fell on the asphalt, I had to watch from far until these guys finished with their business, they got on the bike and left, I went back and luckily for me they didn't pick my phone but a speeding vehicle already damaged the battery and my bag was badly torned as a result of the tussle, i was disoriented throughout that day, that was the first time such happened to me, thoughts of what if the guy had opened fire or harmed me while I was dragging my bag with him kept running through my mind that day and till this moment. Thank God for life!

I can still remember the day GSD pursue me. I was just strolling down our street to get peak milk from a nearby shop, our Ekuke closely following me behind after I done try pursue am go back house but e no gree.

Got to the shop, bought the peak milk started strolling home, I next thing I hear one loud bark for my back. E sure me say no be our Ekuke get the voice, I turn back see one hoodlum of a dog dey look me and our dog.

Before I could say Jack Robinson, our Ekuke take off leave me, naso I join am back. The idiot first me reach house.

If you stop and give them the pleasure of capturing you, the outcome is unpredictable, but the experience would torment you for life (maim you, rape your girl in your presence, possibly kill you or both of you), no need.

Mine was 2016. Was coming back from school to Lagos and my bus decided to ply obajana- kabba. That was 2016 December when the road was under construction. We don dey reach one armlet when I sighted this folks for front since I was sitting in the front seat. Oboy I told driver make he turn but the stupid guy said na guys wey dey pour sand for road. We almost neared them and it was obvious they are robbers. When we wanted trying to turn but another set was in our back showing there locally made pistol at us. First thing I did was to quickly conceal my idcard inside the bus safe then I threw the camo strap one under chair. I made do away with anything camo on me to avoid stories that touches and I came out head raised down as per prisoner of war standard. The first one asked me to bring my phone etc then it dawned on me I have my picture in camouflage on my wallpaper so I told the mofos I dnt have one. Las las dem go do job with me. Well they brought out the khaya and will ask who get this. Na eyes them wan take rub. And in like 5mins calvary arrived. An army general was going with his escort and immediately they realised whatz happening in front they started shooting in the air. This made the hoodlums scampered for safety in the solace of the bush and the soldiers shot at there direction. The convoy stopped and i identified myself to the officer among the escort. He just laughed that am not learning anything instead of me to disarm them. Lolzz. They were going to akure so no way I can size up.

I have experienced and escaped series of deathly attacks...

They all had terrible stories to tell, including my cousin who's a female! Damn!

In Rivers state, it's either one is killed or knows a close friend who was killed.

I'll choose Lagos a million times over than any SS states.
