In a certain town, a beggar sat at a street corner. He had a little dog around whose neck was hanging a card with words"i am blind". An old gentle man, who passed that corner everymorning always drop a penny int6 the beggars hat. One day hwever he was deep in thought and forgot the special gift. Thereupon, the beggar ran afta him and asked for his pennz. The gentleman gazed at him and said, i thought you were blind. The man said oh no sir it is my dog that is blind |
