THE MEDICAL TRUTH:
Heart disease is not a gender based disease.
The best thing you can do to lower your chances of getting heart disease is to start making lifestyle changes now. Don’t smoke. Monitor your blood pressure and blood glucose (sugar) levels to wade off diabetes. You can also schedule virtual medical appointments with a doctor on the PDI Telehealth App to learn what you can do to keep your heart healthy.

True, not specific to a particular gender however, the probability varies per gender thus, we can't call it a myth since it has been proven from research.
