WordPress has made it possible for anyone to build professional websites at an affordable rate.

And yes, you don't need any coding knowledge to be a WordPress designer. In fact, today, everyone and their cousins seem to be WordPress 'experts'.

But then, there are some developers (programmers) who insult people who sell WordPress services without having any coding knowledge.

I believe that the main problem of those set of people who insult WordPress designers is that they don't understand the structure of the WordPress ecosystem.

In the WordPress ecosystem, there are developers, there are designers, there are marketers and there are users.

The developers work behind the scenes, building themes, plugins and fixing bugs in exchange for money. Some are freelancers, others are fully employed by companies like Elementor etc.

Then there are designers whose job is to make use of the themes and plugins to design websites for clients. They have little to no coding experience but understand how to satisfy clients' needs. They have tested many plugins and themes, so they know which is best for which purpose.

The marketers are usually big companies who provide a platform for developers to sell their themes and plugins. Examples are envato and themeforest.

Finally, the users are those who only know how to do basic stuff; publish posts and create pages etc.

That said, it isn't strange for WordPress designers to transition into WordPress developers along the lines in their career path. Just as it isn't uncommon for ordinary WordPress users to become professional WordPress designers as they get more comfortable with WordPress.

So, people should stop insulting those who sell WordPress gigs without having coding knowledge. Things have changed and we should learn to adapt to the new niche our ecosystem has for us.

In all you've written, I found no inclusion of

1. those who sell Nulled or Pirated Themes / Plug-ins
2. those whose knowledge doesn't exceed Downloading and Installing Themes & Plugins even for the most basic task.
3. those who are willing to give out A zipped bundle of Premium Themes & Plugins for as much as ₦500 .
4. those who advertise stupidly low figures as cost of service and who most times ends up making their Victims (customers) regret. Imagine someone willing to sell Brand New professional iPhone 11 with no cosmetic injury of any kind and very clean for ₦3,000 .
That's what happens why people advertise Professional Business website for ₦10,000 and look well, they never make Use of Free themes and mostly also includes Premium Plug-ins also.

Nothing like WordPress developers. We only have WordPress users.

Those you call developers are indeed real time programmers who develops plugins for WordPress, they can as well work with other systems but WordPress users are limited to WordPress.

Meanwhile Crownedrookie = bunnae = AududuNine11 = GentRoyal = moreb2cum = homo!
