Governor Godwin Obaseki who is the candidate of the People's Democratic Party yesterday toured Etsako Central in Edo North Senatorial Zone to continue his campaign for the fifth day in the zone. The Governor and his campaign team visited Fugar Ward 1, 2 and 3 in Etsako Central. Large number of PDP supporters and people of Fugar came out in their numbers to welcome the Governor and his team. Some of them were seen carrying the campaign banners of Governor Godwin Obaseki and his Deputy/Running Mate Comrade Philip Shaibu. Speaking at the campaign venue, the APC chairmen and excos in Fugar ward 1, 2, 3 in Etsako decamped to the People's Democratic Party with their supporters. They all pledged to work for the reelection of Governor Godwin Obaseki come September 19. Same yesterday, Governor Obaseki campaigned im Ugbekpe wards where APC chairman and his excos decamped to the PDP also declaring their support for the Governor. The PDP looks like it is gathering momentum in Edo North which is the strongest hold of APC and the zone of former National Chairman of APC Comrade Adams Oshiomhole. He hehe from singing "Obaseki pepper dem o" to this. The biggest mistake APC made was allowing Oshomhole pick a candidate. Even as it stands the APC chairman in Edo said APC doesn't even have a candidate.  2 Likes |
