The governing council of the University of Lagos (UNILAG) has today, 12th August 2020 sacked Oluwatoyin Ogundipe as the Vice-Chancellor of the Institution. The decision was made at the council's meeting which was held at the headquarters of the National Universities Commission (NUC), Abuja. He was accused of Financial impropriety and gross misconduct. In attendance at the meeting, seven members voted for the removal of Ogundipe (UNILAG VC), four voted against it while one member voted for his suspension https://www.varsitygists.com.ng/2020/08/trending-unilag-vc-sacked.html
