Ex super eagles skipper, John Mikel Obi has expressed his desire to return to English football.

The 2012 champions league winner is presently a free agent following the termination of his contract with Turkish Trabzonspor by mutual consent in March.

The 33 years confirmed that there are interests from English clubs but is not in a haste but can only wait for the future.

'Yes, there are interested clubs and England is a strong possibility and why not,' Mikel told BBC Sport Africa yesterday.
