post=92910469: Amaechi is a good candidate. But don't make your support too loud or insult others in the process lest you damage his chances. Also beg ipob to keep off his candidacy. |

IjebuWarrior: baba be realistic, do we have someone as politically sagacious and brilliant like Tinubu, I mean someone who has the balls against any cabal in Nigeria ni?? yes Tinubu was corrupt but we should beyond that, Nigeria need an action-democratic brilliant man. if he is as corrupt as painted I think Lagos should b down by now?? all insinuation. Tinubu has balls not because of roughness but for the fact that he has Sons who are giant, powerful , foot soldiers in (senate, house of Rep, Governors) who won't betray him wen he is fighting any stubborn Caucus. He ll get supportive strength to make things work.. thank God he is a Chief Technocrat and hasn't shown any sign of weakness eversince.. Don't tell me Fashola or Osinbanjo, can they withstand the pressure in stubborn senate and co cabals Tinubu is wealthy even before politics, already made, I don't think Nigeria should shoot themselves this time in the name of hatred for Tinubu.. 2 Likes 1 Share |

danilmo: Wealth in which regards? To sponsor his 1999 Governorship campaign which we all know how Afenifere got him there. Have you bothered to know why he used a different name and identity while in the U.S and why late Gani Fawehinmi was against his Governorship candidacy? A man that engages thugs and rogues like MC Oluomo et al... deserves death! Only if you knew how many lives those murderers have taken on his behalf. Bro... I'm a good friend with his late first son, we grew up in the same neighborhood back in the day in Shomolu when he and his sister, Korede were staying with their single mum. I know better, trust me. Tinubu is tooooooo selfish, trust me! I know. 1 Like |

slivertongue: Lol, this one has ended up forgetting the previous 16 years of the locust and saying nothing, only to advocate a return to the years of the locust. No government is perfect, including any of the current ones. But at least, we're now seeing real-world quality roads across the country; support infrastructures such as the 2nd Niger Bridge; standard railways and modern coaches; bailout funds to recklessly distressed governments and salary arrears by the previous regime cleared; the FG not having to borrow to pay salaries; the TSA and IPPIS to help with transparencies even if far from perfect yet; previously untouchable looters being brought to book even if such is viewed by some tiny and vocal special-interest groups as selective; and terrorists no longer able to fly their terror-flags over the 14/17 LGA's as they did with reckless abandon under the previous regime and now life is returning to relative normalcy in the Northeast, even as there are serious lapses still, just to mention a few — all in the face of seriously dwindled resources shaped by the larger world thrown into repeated recession. I don't belong in any political cul-de-sac. And whatever comes from 2023 is anyone's duty to help shape and mold, but may it never be back to the PDP — ever! ........ P34c3 3 Likes 2 Shares |

the only way i can vote APC for presidency is if osinbajo or amaechi is the flag bearer. anything other than that is PDP all the way. infact is ameachi ahead of osinbajo |

So with all that is happening across the country especially in his backyard,it is 2023 presidency that is more important to talk about. |

danilmo:Your comment is very sound and full of political intelligence In addition to what you stated, we have to research individuals aspiring to positions of leadership, then base our decisions on current realities. Asiwaju is definitely not a saint - but his previous experience in the legislature (former senator), executive (former governor) and leader of defunct pro democracy group (NADECO) leaves him head and shoulders above most Nigerian politicians Asiwaju can handle any political pressure/agitation and better prepared to proffer local solutions to numerous issues affecting the lives of our people Aside Tinubu, I also rate el-rufai and Chukuma Soludo as disruptive thinkers and brave administrators 3 Likes 1 Share |

IjebuWarrior: You’re not well informed or probably basing your views on personal hatred/negative sentiments Tinubu was a MD in Mobil oil before he contested for the governorship election , yes he got some support from afenifere and other groups including nadeco but he was also rich enough to finance the project in 1999 He actually reformed MC Oluomo and other thugs by relocating them away from Oshodi and created orderliness around the area He’s late son Jide was also my very close friend in Surulere, Eko lolu crescent. He never lived in Shomolu. He spent most of his life in East London before relocating back to Nigeria around 2007. Anyway, I don’t understand why you brought Jide into the discussion Tinubu is arguably the most generous Politician in Nigeria. Ask around Alausa and from people that has worked with him 2 Likes 1 Share |

QuotaSystem: Irrespective of four most dangerous terrorist groups domiciled in Northern Nigeria and dominated by Fulani people, Nigerians did not because of that deny Buhari a chance to rule Nigeria. Why must you guys set different standard when it comes to Igbos? It is the turn of Igbos after the other two regions in the south have had their turns. |
