Nigeria is covered during this Covid period - God listens to the cry of the poor masses who feel cheated. Just as we have many wicked people (kidnappers, ritualists, callous leaders, etc), so also do we have many who have the ear of the Lord.; yes many of her citizens are careless and even unbelieving of the virus; truth be told, many have fallen ill and recovered without even realising that they ever had it; it's unexplainable but this country is still the best place to be at this time, despite all her shortcomings! Those who cannot travel out, pls. continue to count your blessings and may the virus never locate you and yours!

Not to worry honey. Ghana will likely open tertiary institution next week or maximum next 2weeks. That will push Naija to open soon

They are happy to announce commencement of international flights because it is time for their children/wards to return to schools abroad, September is resumption date for most schools abroad! Nobody is willing or happy to reopen schools here.

I could have easily gone back to the USA on one of the many humanitarian flights but I believe that I was safer in Nigeria.

It's one thing for the airports to open for international flights. However, it's another for the airlines to start commercial flights to Nigeria. Considering all the new protocols that will have to be followed once flights resume, it will be a long time before normalcy returns.

Comment on what you know.
Do you how long it takes to produce a vaccine. The clinical trials and pre clinical trials take time. Even if there are vaccines do you know how many would afford it.

It takes normally takes yearsss to ring a vaccine to market. From what I learned.... 4 years is the shortest timeone will be approved. For COVID-19 ... do you know the US has passed emergency approval which will allow vaccines to be marketed in a year? ... and guess who will be mainly used as Guinea pigs?

I tried to discourage a friend from traveling back to the UK but he didn't listen.

A month later, he contacted Covid-19.
