A 19-year-old British girl who was addicted to Instagram has killed herself for not getting enough “likes” on her photos.

Chloe Davidson, 19, was found dead at her family home in Lanchester , County Durham.

She was an aspiring model who relied on social media to feel good about herself, her older sister Jade said.

Her death will surely bring enough like and awareness. Mission accomplished

1. Inferiority complex/low self esteem.

2. The need to flaunt material things or flash some nudity, twerk e.t.c (anything for the Likes and to trend) or projecting a fake life.

3. The feeling of being inadequate when all the efforts are not yielding, especially when it's working for some others.

4. Depression sets in.

5. Suicide becomes the final note.


...The full cycle of depending on social media for self worth and validation. I think it plagues females more.
