Despite the economic recession of recent times there has never been a time of lower employee retention as workers move rapidly between firms in search of greater fulfillment and perhaps income.

Once we had to recruit a few new hands in our company. We advertised the vacancies and were surprised to see quite some applicants who already had decent jobs in companies that were guaranteed to pay them more than we would ever be able to since we were a startup with lean resources. They probably didn’t know that or maybe were so uncomfortable with their current jobs they so much would welcome any reasonable alternative.

I asked a particular employee with a financial services firm and he just insisted he wanted to move on citing discomfort and lack of motivation.

Employees, everyone knows, are very important pillars of any successful business and when especially good hands want out on regular basis it spells danger for the organization. When an employee wants to leave a company it may be as a result of the following;
