The driver of the car that killed Tolulope Arotile in july 2020, was believed to not have a valid drivers license. There is no evidence that can fully back this claim because it is easier to prove you don't have something than to prove that you have it. He could have destroyed all records partaining to his drivers license; anything is possible in naija, apart from waking the dead. There are people that believe that a person doesn't need to go to any driving school to learn how to drive properly; they will tell you that you can pay a friend to teach you how to drive in 2 or 3 days

Some people will tell you that nobody thought them how to drive, that they learnt by watching others - this is the result of such school of thought. The driver of the said car that killed Tolulope Arotile must have learnt how to drive by paying a friend to teach him how to drive in 2 days or by watching others (I will go with the latter). Even in the world of keke napeps & auto rickshaws, I always tell people - if you have never driven a motorcycle or car before, don't enter the highway - stick to district roads (off-road driving)

It's what you were thought in the driving school when you wanted to learn how to drive your car, that you will apply when you enter the mainroad with your keke napep or auto rickshaw. You can't depend on what you were thought in 2 or 3 days by a roadside keke driver (who may have even learnt on his own). Keke napeps don't like sand; nobody that teaches you how to drive will not tell you this. Keke napep can't be driven in the desert; this is is an extreme case scenario, but I knew many will not understand when I say keke napep doesn't like sand

One can now clearly see why it's not good to depend on what you were thought by a road side teacher - whether you want to learn how to learn how to drive a car, motorcycle, bus or even keke napep... they will leave out alot of vital information that could have helpt you become a better driver a.k.a defensive driving. Tolulope Arotile (aged 24) was the first-ever female combat helicopter pilot in the Nigerian Air Force. May her soul rest in peace
