I think its high time we tell the foolish internet soldiers of APC and Oshiomole that in all ramifications, OBaseki is more credible and civilized than any other candidates. We know Oshiomole wants to turn Kabaka to MC Oluomo of Benin if APC wins. We know they have designated different markets and motor parks to themselves. They want to again turn Benin City to tout Colony like Lagos. Idiot! Never again!

The Nigerian constitution which is the grand norm and bedrock of our democracy allows for counterparts funding of such projects by hosting states for its takeoffs. Especially the provision of land(s) and assurance of security for would-be investors. Thereby opening up the state for investments. So it’s a welcome development by the Gov. Godwin Obaseki led administration to have provided the enabling environment for investors to come in.
We know all these and therefore attribute all the credits to his excellency the Governor for a job well done.

Am really baffled that People go around screaming MOU governor, without understanding the legality of a framework for a public Private Sector Partnership, This is so commendable, the day we realise that creating jobs should go beyond overloading the blotted civil service and creating an environment for private sector to thrive then we havent started creating real wealth in Nigeria. Welldone to a technocrat per excellence success on your re election
The matter tire me o. It shows we have very unenlightened political class in this country.
They shout 'MOU' they don't even understand its meaning or place in industrial development.
The man even clarified that It is an MOU project, the contractor alluded to a financial support of 700 million.
It's first of all in his credit that he initiated the project, attracted the investor (which modern-day governance is about as it is not prudent to do everything), and provided the enabling environment beyond cash, it could be fixed assets like land, a viable market etc).
Chai, this is like an analogue reasoning in a digital world.
In fact, more suffering loading for the masses come 2023, since they've refused to come abreast with what governance is about in the 21st Century. Politicians will continue to use 'white elephant projects' to pillage our commonwealth.

That's even better. He attracted investment to the state.

We need to stop all these "government owned" nonsense. Owning things is not one of the responsibilities of government. Creating an environment for private investment, as well as attracting private investors, is one of the things every government should achieve.

How many government-owned establishments work? Business is for private investors, not government. Uber is even in Benin City now. That's a lot. Government creating jobs should not have anything to do with government creating new businesses. Government businesses hardly ever work. They're money pits

My own is, PDP should not allow these guys to win this propaganda battle again since they cannot tell Edo people what their candidate will do for the people.

That’s how they used this same tactics and other vices to push GEJ out.

If APC give Obaseki gbas, PDP should give them gbos.

This is not the time to be silent. No matter how trivial the issue may be, talk about it.

Let’s all run mad together.

We understand the language: POLITICS.

But he spend more than 3 years as a governor under your party. Going by your statement, he failed under APC as a governor. Let him be tried for another 4 years under PDP.

Truth is: Don't bank/put your hope on either Obaseki (PDP) and Ize-Iyamu (APC) when one eventually become governor. They will only please their masters.

He shouldn't have laid claim to it.

He claims the project was built by him with the impression that Edo State government owned it.

Personally, when I saw it, I wondered how he got the money to do this in 3 1/2 yrs.

Our leaders should speak the truth always. It's not everything you introduced politics into.

I listened to Chief Ordia on AIT talking about this project as a project that shocked him too and that's one project that made him to support Obaseki and it's a selling point to him.

Truth is constant.

Have you heard or seen Gov Sanwo Olu laying claim to Dangote Refineries in Lagos?

Truth should be told always. Most Edo people thought the refinery is built and owned by Edo State government.

Now, they know that it is not what they thought.

Please Mr Lieyaki should be honourable enough to state the true position of that project, yes it's not an Edo govts per say but it's a PPP project,. Edo state govt supported the project with $700 million and has a 30% stake in the modular refinery as well as providing a condiusive and safe environment for such a huge project for Edo people... Stating the fact won't make you less a man .

Are you speaking for Obaseki now after he told us that it was built by Edo State government.

The only thing that is constant is Truth.

Do you know how many pictures of the place he uploaded for Nigerians to see?

It's like Sanwo Olu of Lagos claiming ownership of Dangote Refineries just bcoz he gave free land for the project.

Sanwo Olu has not gone there to take pictures but Obaseki has uploaded uncountable pictures as if the project belong to Edo State people.

Please,
Malaria and typhoid are not a single disease. They are not related.

Malaria is caused by Plasmodium via mosquito bite, typhoid is caused by salmonella transmitted via poor/unhygienic food handling.

Saying, 'I have malaria and typhoid' is common in Nigeria. Why always having the two at the same time?
lolzzzzz doctor the two seems inseparable ooooh, thanks for sharing.

Pained me? For what?

I expect you to be objective and concern at the level of deceit and calumny you've been thrown into.

His lies have no direct bearing on my business and family.

I just hope that when the project is completed and the company bring people from Lagos to work there you will not kidnap them. Edo no be Lagos abi?

It's when the project is completed that you will know the real owners and their shares.

That's when you will know that Edo can't be Lagos.
