Before i make my own assertion, let me quote what Apostle Paul said.

Hebrews 4:8 Howbeit then, when ye knew not God, ye did service unto them which by nature are no gods. 4:9 But now, after that ye have known God, or rather are known of God, how turn ye again to the weak and beggarly elements, whereunto ye desire again to be in bondage? 4:10 Ye observe days, and months, and times, and years. 4:11 I am afraid of you, lest I have bestowed upon you labour in vain.


You can see from here that many people do these things in ignorance. The word of God is complete and no contradiction, I know it may be very difficult to adhere to but we should know that nothing defileth shall enter into the kingdom of God. Rev. 21:27. The psalmist said in Psalms 119:105 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path..
