As a young recruitment company, we have done okay for ourselves in the last 3 months inspite of the country. we ventured into the business and have been overwhelmed by the request for dispatch riders. below are some of the issues we have had so far

1. they always do PP. almost all riders steal. the grade of stealing varies. we had a rider who said he could not deliver more than 4 items a day. the client was okay with it until we found out that he was making up to 10 deliveries a day with clients bike and pocketing the money. as a delivery company, you have to invest in tracking system and ensure that cash does not touch their hand.

2. Gods in their heads. our client sent a dispatch to pick up from her client. after 2 hours of pickling up, riders phone switched off. we were all calling frantically for fear of his absconding with clients package. after like 5 hours, he picked up and casually said he had head ache and decided to go home to sleep that he will deliver to the owner of the package the next day. our client apologized to him for disturbing his sleep, waited for him to deliver the package the next day, called him to the office and jejely collected her bike back. such impunity.

3. eating part of package: in our short time in the business, we have seen where riders eat out of clients delivery. mostly small chops and rice. funny how it sound but its true

4. absconding with clients bike. our client called us frantically saying that she sent the dispatch to isolo but the tracker is showing that the that his is close to badagry and he was not picking calls. after he picked he said he was at islolo when tracker clearly was showing otherwise. client just told him that they have another delivery for him at the office and by share chance he chose to come back to pick up the package. well, it is either the tracker is a liar or the rider wanted to cross boarder with the bike. bike came home safe sha and he was fired instantly

5. multiple jobs: the latest one is multiple jobs, last Friday we sent a rider for interview at a clients office and he went with another company's bike. Upon questioning, he told our client that the bike belonged to his brother who was not working that Friday so he decided to use it. our client was not satisfied with the answer so he got a staff to get the number of the company from the box. upon calling the company after the rider left, our client was told that the rider just resumed a week before. we immediately black listed him. he can not be trusted.

6. terrible behavior: some riders think it is condition that made crayfish to bend that the rider job is beneath them. they are rude, condescending and have no value for your time and package. we have encountered a few. trust me, they will make you think twice about the business

7. very flirtatious: for every 5 riders that come for interview at our office, 2 asks my colleagues out. they send voice notes, text messages and even d**k pics. its unbelievable what the ladies have to contend with on a daily basis while still trying to get them jobs. now we just ignore them and move on to other serious people who want jobs and not girlfriend

8. Over indulgence: because of the current rush, they have become overlords. dictate terms and salary at will and move jobs at will. unfortunately if we black list someone, another agency may recruit them.

9. interview disappointments: a rider we had given money to go and attend an interview at ajah at 11am. we called him around 10 to confirm if he is cloes by and he bluntly told us that we should reschedule him that he wants to visit a friend that morning. we were all quiet for like 5 minutes then burst out laughing. several have called us in the morning of the interviews to ask us for tfare. even more will call you that they now want 70k per month or nothing.

these are just a few of what we have experienced so far.

what has your experience been?

Hi,

I would like to find out if you know or can recommend anyone who manages bike and give a certain return everyone month. I would like to invest but not to manage. You advice and direction will be highly appreciated.
