The guy who made the first comment which you replied is not a youth from my observation. He is a very matured man. Most of us were radicals just like the member of HoR, Nigerian situation has taught us bitter lessons. Somebody also asked question if Wike is the leader of the honourable member. A radical youth can react.

In life, Umar Ghali Naaba, Shehu Sani, SLS, El- Rufai and many others have paid the price for being radicals. In offices, many radicals have been sacked or frustrated out. According to them igbos cannot be indigenous to Rivers State that oyigbo is ogoni land even with court documents on the reason for the boundary adjustment that needed oyigbo from old Imo state present day abia to rivers state. They still insist.

This attitude is one of the major reason why there's no peace in ogoni land, at every point in time they are eyeing another man's property.

They were part of the spearheaders of abandoned property in old Port Harcourt, now that the old igbo properties in old Port Harcourt are now useless and worn out their next Target is oyigbo. Alot of them are praying in their hearts that Nnamdi Kanu and ipob will do sth stupld to make igbos in oyigbo flee for their lives, so that they can come and take over.

And Nnamdi Kanu and his ipob are taking the bait. Thank God alot of igbos have seen this and won't ever follow kanus part of destruction

yes because of the humongous NLNG facility sitting on that island.It handles over 70 percent of Nigeria gas export but,Bonny island doesn't produce gas or oil (at least in noticable quantities). Gas is drilled all over Rivers (onshore and offshore) and even Abia then it's piped to Bonny for storage and shipping

You wouldn't have said it better Bonny produces very little oil and gas but gas is pipped from all the LGAs in Rivers( I don't know about Abia) to Bonny. So Bonny was primarily chosen as the location for export of the Gas from 23 LGAs in Rivers not that Bonny owns the gas.

A principal difference between Rivers Oil and Akwa Ibom oil is that in Rivers the oil is mostly onshore. You have locations where you see flow stations, oil Wells etc. In Akwa Ibom all their oil is mostly on the Atlantic ocean. They cannot relate to oil spills and gas flaring and destruction to the habitat. If not for advanced drilling technology, they wouldn't be an oil producing state. They don't know anything about unrest arising from degradation of your environment and means of livelihood. They just hear about these things and make an opinion as people who haven't felt the pinch before.
