I also want to save money, but not by buying a low quality paint. I want to paint my house myself. It needs renovation and I plan to paint it the next month. The house is not big. The exterior materials are stucco and wood panels. I would like to paint the whole house in one color. I was suggested to use high-quality stucco paints listed by woodyexpert that can be applied on both stucco and wood. Can you help me to know how I should prepare the surfaces before painting? Should I use the same primer on both materials if I'm going to use the same paint?
