Public Opinion weighs in favour of Tertiary institutions being allowed to reopen since market places and churches are swimming with people and there is no longer a ban on interstate travels. Some have even pleaded that Final years (students in exit classes) should at least be allowed to complete their education
While it seems like there is nothing that should stop this from happening, the Federal Government has refused to give the go-ahead. A look at some comments from the 'powers-that-be' explains why FG is reluctant to do so.

Pulse reported that on 22nd August, during an NTA programme, the Minister of State for Education, Hon. Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba, made these statements;

“Private universities have written to us, requesting that they are allowed to reopen ahead of public institutions. Vice-chancellors have also requested that we allow them to reopen for their students in exit classes..."

Now, here is a possible reason why Private Universities who are capable of handling the safety protocols are not allowed to do that...

We have also a lot of calls from bodies who want us to resolve the industrial action embarked upon by the Academic Staff Union of Universities before reopening because some public schools which are not ASUU-prone want to take the advantage of the strike to move ahead, but that would destroy our public schools. So, we are working on all these calls.”

From the statements made by Minister Nwajiuba, it is clear that 'fear for safety' is no longer what is keeping Tertiary Institutions from reopening. It is now an FG-ASUU thing which does not concern the private institutions so why should they have to pay for it?

HOW TO LOCATE YOUR WIFE IN A CROWD WITHOUT WASTING YOUR CREDIT

If you go to a function, and there are many people suddenly, your wife went to greet her friends, from there you can't locate her again, don't stress yourself calling her on phone, just look for another beautiful lady and start talking to her, before you ask of her name your wife will be standing next to you.....u will just hear Daddy Tayo eku party

Its another way of saving your phone credit......

The we against them battle in Nigeria is a daft one. So it is the fault of private schools they planned aggressively ahead now?

nicely detailed...av said it before even if we start recording zero cases each day, ASUU remains the main reason whys schools are locked because soo many private schools have the capacity and ability to contain the virus than most churches..
F.G is jus hiding behind covid to hold the private schools together with the public schools at home..
wontbe surprised if primary and sec schools resumes this September and the universities are still locked up..
