If I lose my tongue today
With my power to speak taken away.
I will only grieve for the one word I didn’t say
I love you more than trees love sun rays.


If I can break this walls around my scared heart.
I will let you to queen the home within it
But if fear was a bird,
My heart has become her nest .

If you can look into my shy eyes
You will see me kneeling with flowers.
But my fear has become my slave master.
It has chained that part of me in the prison of my thought.

If my hands was that of a poet
I would dissolve my heart in a pen
And let my feelings flow like ink.
Maybe, you would see my love buried in those similes and rhymes.

If today should see the end of me.
Rest in peace won’t be for me
For my heart will be tormented by the love it caged
Because in my heart , your face was painted on each page
