The Chairman, Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Professor Mahmud Yakubu, on Thursday paid a visit to the electoral umpire office in Benin, the capital of Edo State, Igbere TV reports.

The visit, according to reports gathered by this online newspaper, is to assess the preparedness of the Commission ahead of the September 19, Governorship election in the state.

Presence of members of the Commission is also noticed during the visit.

It's a good thing that you guys in Obaseki camp have finally admitted that Obaseki failed to work for Edo State through his tenure in office. Although you are making excuses for him by telling lies and diverting attention towards Oshiomole.

Your delusion doesn't change these facts:

1. Oshiomole is man who brought Obaseki in.

2. Oshiomole outperformed Obaseki.

3. The difference between Oshiomole and Obaseki in achievements is like the difference between day (Oshiomole) and night (Obaseki).

4. Oshiomole and the good APC is presenting a better candidate in the person of Pastor Osagie Ize-iyamu as governor that will restore the state to it's glory.
