The Candidate of the Peoples Redemption Party, Babatunde Alli has wished the people of the state a happy new month and true victory in the forthcoming governorship election.

Speaking through his media office, the candidate of the oldest political party in Nigeria, desperately wishes that Ondo State people will own their government. ''What we have all along is a government of few which has gradually become the government of a family'', Babatunde said.

He declared that the only way out is for the people of the state to come out and vote for their conscience in the October 10 governorship election. If our state can record a cumulative vote of 1 million in a governorship election, then vote buying would have been greatly minimized, and the likelihood of the people electing their own governor would be achieved.

The one we have now is definitely not a people governor.
