Among those that stole spots in history an African man, Kaycee Madu, an Igbo man that became the first black man to hold the position of Canada Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Alberta Province.
Kaycee Madu, whose real name is Kelechi Madu, was born in 1973 in Okrika Nweke, Ahiazu Mbaise Local Government Area, in Imo State, Nigeria. He graduated from the University of Lagos (Unilag) with a bachelor of law degree (LL. B)

Kaycee, a black immigrant and Canadian politician under the United Conservative Party moved to Canada and his wife, Emem. For her postgraduate studies at the University of Alberta... https://54history.com/the-first-black-man-to-become-canadian-minister-of-justice-and-attorney-general/

You forgot to add that he participated in the political process, made himself visible at the municipal level and won an election. He also had a small law firm.

The Nigerian youth is docile, preferring to run around politicians instead of running politics. If you feel politics is too expensive, gather your age group and get their buy in, buy membership forms and win council elections. From there, go to the state assembly. From there, you can go to the federal level. It is a process and you must go through it.

We can't wait on God to do the most basic things for us and blame Nigeria for our docility.

Becoming a member of a political party is not what God can do for anyone. God has given us legs to walk to the party secretariat to collect membership forms and hands to complete same. If Kaycee Madu had not joined a party and won an election, he won't be Minister in Alberta. So let Nigerians stop making it seem as if Kaycee did not pay his dues to win his position.

I hate the lack of intellect when people equates Africa to Black. What happened to the first African to hold the position of Canada Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Alberta Province? Kaycee Madu is an Igbo man and the son of the soil. He is not a descendent of slave and should not be referred as "Black".
