On Monday, August 31, 2020, there was handover ceremony at Centre for Entrepreneurship and Employability (CEE), Alex-Ekwueme Federal University Ndufu-Alike, Ebonyi State, when outgoing Ag. Director, Dr. Makuachukwu Ojide transferred mantle of leadership to Dr. George Mbaeyi, who assumed office as new Ag. Director for the Centre, with effect from September 1, 2020.

The outgoing Ag. Director warmly congratulated the incoming Dr George Mbaeyi on his appointment as Ag. Director for Centre for Entrepreneurship and Employability, AE-FUNAI and also wished him success and God’s favour as he takes over leadership.

Dr. Makuachukwu Ojide was appointed Acting Director for the Centre on September 1, 2018 and having served out a second tenure on August 31, 2020, had to ensure his exit did not create any operational gap, and to resume in his new position as Ag. Director, Research and Development, he found the timely hand over necessary.

Dr. Ojide recounted his numerous achievements during his two years stay as the Ag. Director of the Centre, including but not limited to Fidelity Bank Campus Activation Train Program, Annual Table Calendar production, introduction of Computer Based Examination for ENT 201, ENT 301 and LEP 202, Employability Skill Workshop in Collaboration with MTN, Mentorship Support and Training on Photograph, Entrepreneurship Development in the production of Quality Honey, Train-the Trainer Workshop and Google Digital Skill Training, among others

He urged the incoming Ag. Director to put in his best towards actualizing the goals and aspirations of the Centre, thereby bringing out the best in the students and the Centre, assuring him of his support while he prayed for divine guidance and direction for him (Dr Mbaeyi) in the new assignment.

The incoming Ag. Director Dr.George Mbaeyi thanked Dr. Makuachukwu Ojide for a work well done, his wonderful speech and also his promising to be available anytime the Directorate needs him. He also wished the outgoing Ag. Director Success in his new appointment.
