His arrogance as portrayed by his utterances is what made the Oba hard on him.

I'm surprised why his supporters did not see this, but claiming the Oba is biased.

In fact, given a 2nd opportunity to speak, he was even still reiterating that he was Governor as if that is new information.

There is no doubt that the oba is well honoured by Edo people but that does not rule out the fact that the governor of the state is the highest authority in the state. The Constitution does not recognize what is in the mind of ordinary Edo person when it comes to issues like this.

Go and watch the full video. The Oba cautioned everybody. And in case you do not know, in the mind of ordinary Edo person, Oba is higher than the governor. Is just Nigeria constitution that limits him. If Edo becomes Independent tomorrow, the Oba becomes Head Of state automatically.

Like I said, it is the Nigeria constitution that makes the governor the highest authority in the Land. If we become independent nation, he will get some of his power back
