The Christian Association of Nigeria CAN have come under attack following the declaration by its Lagos chapter Chairman, Apostle Alex Bamgbola concerning Femi Fani-Kayode.

The chairman of the Lagos State chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), announced that the former Minister of Aviation, Fani-Kayode will rule Nigeria if he remains humble.

However, the pronouncement has stirred reactions from some Nigerians on social media who accused CAN of disgracing Christianity in the country and dragging itself into partisan politics.

Apostle Alex Bamgbola said Femi Fani-Kayode would become the president of Nigeria someday.

You guys don't want the apostle to flex with Femi's money? Why are you guys disturbing a man who knows what he wants and how he wants it.

Do you want him to tell Fani kayode that the future will be dark for him? If he dear mention that, he will end up not getting anything. Femi knows that he cannot get any political appointment in Nigeria again, but having to cone and be the one that will tell him the truth, means nothing for you.
