Though coups are no longer popular, any poorly run country will inevitably find itself in a state of conflict and anarchy.
In advanced societies when the government fails, they willingly and rightfully so relinquish power. This is usually due to pressure from the masses.
Therefore until Nigerians and by extension Africans begin to see and believe that power resides in their hands military coups will always still be a viable option to remove bad leaders.

SocialJustice:
When anybody can import and sell at their price, it will not be long before price stabilises because while there will be people who want to sell and make N10 per litre, there will be others who want to make N2 per litre. That is the true advantage of deregulation.

Federal government should dismantle their good for nothing refineries and sell as scrap but they won't do it because the refineries are used for stealing/wasting at least N300b annually and it is mostly northerners that are senior staff in our dead refineries.

Dangote and BUA will serve the whole country when their refineries are ready but until then, let free market prevail like it happened in the telecoms. Remember when MTN and Econet were doing per minute billing until Glo came with per second billing. Look at the prices today and it keeps falling. Sim that used to be N50k is now free in some networks. That is what free market/real deregulation will do for petroleum products.

As it is now with only government importing fuel, a group of persons in the NNPC can come together and add their own N10-N20 to the price and share the money among themselves. Multiply by the 40 million litres they claim we consume daily. Some people are making bastard money in this country. I don't blame them sha, my turn will come.

You are making a valid point but be assured that those importers will form an association and bribe some members of Senate then sell at a price that will be much profitable and affect the masses... Moreover, importers will still peg their price base on forex and the price will keep on fluctuating even it's a big risk against our Naira, a good government with well management and good accountability can manage and fix our existing refinaries which will even protect our Naira.

In as much as she is making so much sense with these words,
The main thing we are against is the timing of the increment,
It shouldn't be at the time of this pandemic at all.

But do we trust our darling Daddy that this subsidy money is safe with him rather than the one that told all Sane Nigerians to their faces that STEALING IS NOT CORRUPTION.
The one that his Minister of Petroleum looted BILLIONS of dollars and ran away from Nigeria since 2015, when PMB became President.
Same frog-eyed thief that some of her jewelries,
wrist watches, ear rings, gold and diamond chains seized from her are all worth a staggering 40000000(0) million dollars
(Children of hate, count how many zeros we have there and tell sane and honest Nigerians how many you counted!)
She stole all those BILLIONS without fuel subsidy removal, just one opolo eye woman, imagine the trillions these thieves looted collectively, especially if they were allowed to remove the subsidy back then!
Oh Yeaaaaa, we trust our darling Daddy to safe guard our money than the previous criminals!!

But right now, We and all sane, hardworking and honest Nigerians SAY NO TO FUEL PRICE INCREMENT.

For emphasis sake,

This is not the time to increase fuel price in our darling nation at all.

Not with all that is going on around the world, pandemic et al,
When people are finding it difficult to survive.

This is the same reason we voted out the party of thieves and criminals.

This is not the change we voted for.

The same way we sane, honest and hardworking Nigerians praised this government when they reduced fuel price sometimes ago, we should make sure we put our voice together to castigate and talk against this.

That is the voice the government will listen to,
Not the voice of children of hate, frustration and perdition that have never seen any good thing in our country,
That all they do is to wail continously in life.
They even wailed when the price was reduced.
They have been wailing since PMB won the election, even before swearing in!
They are not wailing for the common man like sane and honest people are doing, but they are wailing in pain that the corrupt money being shared to them by the losers they support is not forthcoming anymore.
They have been so used to corruption, they see it as a way of life.
That is what we stand against.

Sane, honest and hardworking Nigerians,
Let us come together to Say no to this fuel increase,
definitely not at this time and ignore enemies of the country that want the evil politicians they voted for to remain in power together.

This is not the change we voted for.
Something must be done about this NOW!
God bless Nigeria.

YOU SEEM VERY CONFUSED, BUHARI HAS NOT KEPT ANY OF HIS PROMISES AND IS FAR WORSE THAN JONATHAN, FYI LOOTING IS STILL GOING ON.....KILLING HAS INTENSIFIED ALSO. NIGERIANS ARE SICK AND TIRED OF THESE HYPOCRITES WHICH IS ALL THIS GOVT HAS PROVEN TO BE!

Bros which free market are u saying should prevail? Where's d free market? There are no refineries, nnpc is d sole importer& u are talking about "free market" just like d case of telcoms. How?

Till now he is yet to reply me.

Those of us who were old enough to witness your "darling daddy's" regime in 1984/85 knows what we're up against.

And if your analysis is anything to go by, fuel subsidy has been removed since 2016:
This was the link where this government said fuel subsidy has been removed back in May 2016.

https://dailypost.ng/2016/05/13/why-buhari-removed-fuel-subsidy-osinbajo/

Do you agree?
If you agree and every sane Nigerian also agree too, how much have been saved so far since 2016?
This same government provides the answer.

https://m.guardian.ng/news/fuel-subsidy-removal-nigeria-saves-n15-4-billion-monthly-says-osinbajo/

15.4 billion naira saved monthly.

Now 15.4 billion naira times 4 years i.e 48 months, this is equal to
#739,200,000,000 i.e 739 billion, 200 million naira.

Recovered loot by this government since 2015
https://qz.com/africa/700036/nigeria-says-its-recovered-9-1-billion-in-looted-funds-but-wont-name-the-culprits/

I.e 9.1 billion dollars times 420 naira =

$9.1×#420=
#3,822,000,000,000
i.e 3 trillion, 822 billion naira.

Abacha loot returned under Buhari since 2015:
https://allafrica.com/stories/202002160175.html
308 million dollars plus 322 million dollars

$308,000,000 + $322,000,000 = $630,000,000 × #420 =
#264,600,000,000,000

I.e 264 trillion, 600 billion naira.

GRAND TOTAL

#739,200,000,000 + #3,822,000,000,000 +
#264,600,000,000,000 =

#269,161,200,000,000

269 trillion, 161 billion, 200 million naira
Did you see the number of zeros?

And yet we keep making money everyday from oil and other commodities.

So the question is where has this money gone.
His five year budget is not more than 50 trillion.
Then where is the balance of over 200 trillion naira?
Yet we keep borrowing even to fund our annual budget.
There is no need to even to go into foreign loans that have been borrowed by this administration.

So kindly stop all these conjectures and surmises.

Propaganda will surely take you nowhere.

U deserve a chieftaincy title and citizenship in Dubai. Perfect & detailed analysis. Very apt for that buhari stooge. These things are obvious to d naked eyes, but they choose not to see d fraud that buhari is

The FG has the power to do it but they won't at least not under Buhari.

Yeah, we can still debate on whether India or Nigeria is better but the fact is that most Nigerians go to India for https://www.anavara.com [img][/img][img][/img]medical treatment. If you visit Apollo and other hospitals you can still long queues of only Nigerians.
