The corporate social responsibility arm of the United Bank for Africa (UBA) Plc UBA Foundation, has commenced the 2020 edition of its annual National Essay Competition in Nigeria with a call for entries.

Essay Topic: This year, the topic is “Do you think that the lock down during the Covid-19 pandemic was an essential measure in spite of the hardship it brought economically? What would you have done differently and why?”

Selection Criteria and Eligibility

1. Must be a Nigerian
2. Be a Secondary School student
3. Must submit essay

How much does UBA Foundation National Essay Competition Worth?

Winners of UBA Foundation competition receives cash prizes according to their postion.

1st Prize: N2,000,000 or its local currency equivalent towards university tuition/ fees
2nd Prize: N1,500,000 or its local currency equivalent towards university tuition/ fees
3rd Prize: N1,000,000 or its local currency equivalent towards university tuition/ fees
