Racism is the belief that groups of humans possess different behavioral traits corresponding to physical appearance and can be divided based on the superiority of one race over another. Therefore Islam is totally against discrimination, bigotry and racism . ALLAH subahanu wa ta'ala said:

[Q.49:13] O people, we created you from the same male
and female, and rendered you distinct peoples and
tribes that you may recognize one another. The best among you in the sight of GOD is the most righteous.GOD is Omniscient, Cognizant.

Q.17.70 We have honored the childrens of Adam, and
provided them with rides on land and in the sea. We
provided for them good provisions, and we gave them
greater advantages than many of our creatures.



The Quran states that all humans are the descendants of one man Adam and are therefore brothers to one another. In this verse it is clearly stated that a white man is not better than his black counterpart, a tall not better than the short, rich not better than poor and et cetera. Which means there no distinction between us (in the sight of Allah) except the most pious the most rightous.

In the holy Prophet Muhammad farewell address he said: “There is no superiority of an Arab over a non-Arab, or of a non-Arab over an Arab, and no superiority of a white person over a black person or of a black person over a white person, except on the basis of personal piety and righteousness.
