bewla:I thought as much too, but the reason is not far- fetched, a country that places favouritism above competency, this is what will always happen. Imagine many qualified graduates that are not allowed to get Jobs, but once you know a senator or anyone in power you will job whether you are qualified or not. 2 Likes |

As usual even when our security operatives know the location of these terrorists the message remains; 'we are on red alert, we are waiting for them to attack us first, then we repel them and carry out clearance nonsense'. What is all this. You know where the enemy is and you wait for him to strike before you act. |

The letter/memo is not for the general public. It's for the internal consumption of Custom officers to enable them take necessary precautions for their safety - some of their operations are in the forest. I'm not sure, but I suspect that the source of their intel me be through info sharing with other security services like the Police, DSS, Military Intelligence, etc. There is nothing unusual about this. The press managed to lay it's hand on the letter and went public with it, thereby creating an issue which raises the question as to why such sensitive security Intel gathering become the responsibility of the customs service. |

How I wish the military take over, run transition program for six month and give naija another constitution that will make politicians entitled to salary on grade levels. And pronounce irrevocable death sentence on corruption. The present politicians have blood on their hands |

I have been wearing Nigerians within Abuja and out side about these jihadist assembling around FCT and other north central states. These men has been assembling long before now. Atleast since their patron took office. I often feel for the locals, they see them but are helpless. Their presence in FCT is over whelming. Their just waiting for signal to start. Mean while the rest of Nigerians are busy watching bbnja and football while the enemy is in their back yard. |

Instead of them to comb the areas with troops or security, they are looking for who gave the information as usual, maybe to intimidate. |
