ABATCO DRUMS SUPPORT FOR TOKUNBO ABIRU

The Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Crusade Organization has drummed support for Mr.Tokunbo Abiru, the flagbearer of the All Progressives Congress in the forthcoming Lagos-East Senatorial Bye-Election.

This was contained in a press release signed by the National Convener of ABATCO Comrade Ayeni Oluwaseun made available to the press in Lagos today.

Comrade Ayeni Oluwaseun said the vast experience and exposure of the former Managing Director and Chief Executive officer of Polaris Bank placed him in that vantage position to continue with the legacy of quality and robust representation which the Senatorial district has been enjoying since the return of the country back to democracy.

"Mr. Tokunbo Abiru antecedent and pedigree in corporate governance with 3 decades which led to the successful transformation of the defunct Skye Bank into a more effective Polaris Bank says much about who the people will be entrusting their mandate with.

" Aside from the indelible records, he has attained in the private governance, his proven footprints in politics as a progressive born into the progressive Family of Justice M.O.S Abiru, who was a political associate of late sage Chief Obafemi Awolowo, also elected as a senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in 1979 on the platform of the Unity Party of Nigeria gives us assurance of his readiness to keep upholding the tenets, ideal and ethos of progressive politics"

The National Convener of ABATCO Comrade Ayeni added that Mr.Tokunbo Abiru embraced the progressive norms and values with the quality contributions made to the growth and development of progressive politics is another reason why the electorate in the Senatorial district must troop out enmassed to vote for the candidate of the APC in the senatorial bye-election.

He added "the Organization has painstakingly studied the legislative agenda and policies direction the Candidate of the All Progressives Congress is having in stock for the Senatorial district which would bring about continued growth and development with great impact on the people to make Lagos State a better place and a drive that will put the country in a vantage position in this highly competitive and diversified global economy.
