Chelsea’s new signing Kai Havertz has hailed Fikayo Tomori after the youngster allowed him to take the club’s No 29 shirt. Havertz has been wearing the No 29 in each season of his senior career since making the breakthrough at Bayer Leverkusen in the 2016-2017 German Bundesliga campaign. Fikayo Tomori had been given the No 29 when he was promoted to the first-team last year but has now chosen to switch to No 14.
