First, I want to thank everyone who has given a positive feedback on my music in the past and for those with negative ones, I appreciate you. I'm doing something different and I'm enjoying it. StreetlyGospel, a style of music relevant within and outside religious environment, it is alienic to our culture, even Dr. Ayefele who does tungba gospel was heavily criticised at a time, how much more me with very little or low influence?

7 weeks ago, my team conceived an idea to reintroduced my style of music through freestyle and we called it #KeepingUpWithJapp and they insisted it has to be a public place, don't forget, [ b]StreetlyGospel is a style of music relevant within and outside religious environment, because I've always wondered why secular[/b] artiste has more followers, trend easily and propagate a style that has massive influence in our churches, Tesumole was freely performed in many churches, does it mean we can't have a similar style of music relevant within and outside religious setting consistently and that was what motivated me to challenge the system.

I'm not doing music to be rich or famous, I never made it to the teens choir and I always admire my colleagues every Sundays wearing the gown walking majestically to the choir stand, many of them are not doing anything related to music today and they still marvel each time they come across my contents online, in fact, some offers to come over to studio to back up and adlip some songs. And for my style of music, I grew up heavily influenced with the work of Notorious BIG, Tupac, Snoop, Jarule, Lil Kim and many others but the Holy Spirit in me won't allow me to use their choices of words while composing my songs.

My life is not rested on this music thing, for me and the crew, its fun and the crew is becoming larger everyday meeting people who believe music is their only way to escape poverty and believes I can help them, some of them are the 2 guys featured in this week's episode of #KeepingUpWithJapp. The video was shot in their main territory at Iwo road Ibadan hence the smoke from weed that can be seen on the footage, we've been shooting all our videos in their park for awhile, though a public park and while it remains their territory as most of the users are destitute, bowlers and beggers with no definite abode, they have accepted us (myself and the crew) as part of them and we cannot go to their abode with our personal laws that can forestall them from what is accustomed to the park like smoking weed. We are currently making efforts on how the park can be upgraded with some amenities like public seats, toilets and waste bin to avoid open defecation and we hope our presence with some of our activities will bring corporate users and change the pattern at which the park is currently being used.

Not to bored you with much words, below is a thriller and full video to episode 6 shot on Wednesday, how to feature is in the video.

Thriller (29 sec)

Full Video (36min)

Please kindly subscribe and share to help promote these guys if you can. They did freestyle for over 55min without repetition, we had to limit it to 36min and I can attest to it, they have lamba. Both of them are ex-bowler now truck pushers and like I said earlier, I am not desperate to be known but music is the only thing that can take these dudes out of the street and it will take a big management for them not to blow whatever fortune they made out of music but that's left to them, their destiny and God, mine is what I'm doing now.

Kindly share and subscribe if you can, thanks. How to reach the producer is in the footage.

Thanks
