Young lawyers came together and elected Mr Olumide Akpata as NBA president. In doing this, they pushed SANs off the track into the bush. It is only foolery to think the SANs won't fight back. This new amendment is geared towards cutting the money available to NBA to operate powerfully.

Is there a discrimination among bar Members? Are SAN more superior than other lawyers?

Hence, I don't concur with the highlighted part.

Was it not the same unilateral power that was used by the former minister to impose this stamp law?

No mind them! Hypocrisy runs in their vains.

The motive is to enable the new northern bar members to operate and file cases in court, without the NBA seal. That seal is the barrier that the splinter grout need to overcome.

Did the lawyers complain about it then? If they did not complain, it mean they were duly consulted.

Yes ooo, the illegality has now been annulled. The Seal was an illegality.

So do you use illegality to annul illegality. Silence when it was first issued connotes acceptance. I.e it was welcomed. If this annulment is not welcome it can be challenged successfuly

This point makes a whole sense.. Hence the backdoor move. But they can go about it another way, only it will consume more time like the case of ICAN and ANAN

And the so called SANs think they can get away with illegality?

To even begin to think that the Chief Law Officer of the Nation will descend so low to perpetuate this kind of affront on the law is baffling to say the least.

Which young Lawyers came together and elected Akpata? The way and manner Olumide Akpata was elected has shown that the Stamp and Seal are no longer needed as the purpose was defeated with the knowledge of Mike Ozekhome and Paul Usoro, they tried.

What is the essence of NBA Stamp and Seal when Lawyers in Diaspora that are not known in the NBA register and members who do not belong to any known NBA branch were allowed to participate in election while some registered members were not allowed to vote?

Those members in diaspora and members who do not belong to any known NBA branch have no NBA Stamp and Seal except it is a forged and fake ones but they were allowed to vote, then, the NBA Stamp and Seal that is supposed to be used to detect fake Lawyers is of no use again.
