Just thinking out loud, why is the Federal Ministry of Education (FME) silent on the resumption date. Each state is coming with its own resumption date and schedule. I am wondering why the FME cannot take a holistic policy for all states to align with. Why are states resuming at different dates? Why is FME not even addressing the nation about the process and procedure towards resumption, if any at all has been though of. Some states are resuming on the 21 Sept without ANY guidance while others dont even have a date in sight ? Why is the nation NOT being thoughtful of the future and public health of these children?

Seriously, this is getting out of hand. For our young ones to be at home for long is really not appropriate. The government should do something about this.

That's the issue. While we pray for the Minister of Education health to be restored, will a whole nation educational sector stands still because of this. Can't someone within the ministry step into his role? Making different states to fix different resumption dates is just pathetic. It is making this nation looks like a big joke.

your answer is simple, the F.M.E is silent simple bcoz the F.G dont want to take any blame incase if anything goes wrong concerning students resuming admist the presence of covid..
all states dt believs they are ready should go ahead and resume lectures, as for tertiary institutions, na ASUU hold the key to that lockdown..

Really? So it is all about blames shifting? What about the states that are just resuming like it's a normal resumption? No safety precautions. Is the resumption a way to make a political statement or they are truly ready? Just wondering

its not about politics, they are all ready bcox even the covid seems like a scam....a lot of university would av been open assuming they is no ASUU strike
as for the primary and sec students, they are jus waiting for dirwctives from f.g bt some states av decided to move on..

What's your problem with "No safety precautions"? What do you mean by that? You can lock yourself indoor till eternity if you like.
