There could be any number of reasons why bad news from Ogun state gets reported on a lot: proximity to Lagos and major news outlets, higher population, higher internet usage/communication, ethnic animus (even intra-ethnic resentment of Egbas), etc.

If a crime happens in one village in Nasarawa, you are probably less likely to hear of it (unless it can be attributed to Fulani) than if it happens in Abeokuta.

Whereas, the guys claimed that there was no exchange of physical violence between them and that police officer, that everyone went their ways after the altercation. The corpse of the said dead police was never shown to anybody, not even the judge who sentenced the guys to death. Not even doctors report or death certificate.

RIP to the dead, but I don't trust our security personnels, I feel the story is not true, is either the police man shot at the truck tyre or started beating the driver that made people to revenge.
