If I may ask; is the Nigerian custom the personal property of the north?? How come they have turned this department a lucrative cash cow for the north while the rest of the country looks on without doing anything For how long will this nonsense continue??

There's anything one can do about it. Until we're ready, our efforts should be for 2023.

For now and till then, we're all in this together.

Dont mind them. The north will eat the national cake alone and tell them that igbos who are trying to stop them from eating it are the problem and the yorubas who are also being starved will run to town with it.

Good one from Nigeria.
Sometimes I wonder who actually lost the Civil War between Igbo and Yoruba.
Atleast one can still talk back to Nigeria while the other is both mentally and spiritually subjugated

Yes we are.

Now look at this. Before now, Southerners do not wish to work in government ministries and parastatals because the pay has always been poor. Only Northerners who are almost half educated loved to work in government ministries and parastatals and earn peanuts because Northerners were not so money conscious like we Southerners.

This is the same reason why you will notice that most Judges in all the states of the federaion are Women or Northeners. It is because a brilliant Southern male lawyer is not ready to work in government ministries and parastatals and earn peanut. A Southern male lawyer knows that what government pays in five years, he can make it on a single case. But a Southerne female lawyer is comfortable with the little that government is paying, as her husband is most times the main financier of the family.

This is one of the reasons why there are less Southerners in government ministries and parastatals .

Another reason is that Southerners work gainst each other and even witch haunt their brethren when they find their selves in postition unlike Northerners that once you speak Hausa, you are favoured. So, should we blame the North for this?

However, some things have changed all over the years, as unemployment inceases day by day, anyone is ready to do any job includingworking in government ministries and parastatals and earning peanuts with the wrong believe that he will be in a position to steal government money.

Since 2015 when this APC junta came into power, it has stridently normalized tribalism, nepotism, regionalism and cronyism to high heavens damning the consequences. Unfortunately for them and Nigerians, these actions are taken without recourse to our history books whereby most of the reasons for past coup plots especially in this country were down to these same vices (did I also add corruption ? It stinks to high heavens and even hell in this regime’s kitchen).
Yes, so the necessary mix has been in place since they came into power, they have nothing except you poor folks coming online to bark for a piece of Agege bread. When will you open your eyes ? Is it when you find out power won’t be handed over to your local idol ? Think cool

I wish i could give a 100 likes to this comment. Though it may look bad on one hand but looking critically you will observe that many of the top ranked personnel are from the North and you will definitely not put a junior Southerner above them.
Just like you said, many Northern elites in these organizations favour their people irrespective of the northern state they come from but the Southerner will insist their kindren pass through all the employment processes while at the same time assisting the northern colleague with his own candidate.
