NCDC Records 97 New Cases, 3 Deaths, 138 Recoveries by Newsbreakers: 9:30am On Sep 21, 2020
The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 97 new cases of COVID-19 in the country bringing the total to 57,242. Three new deaths were recorded along with 138 recoveries. Lagos State topped the list.

The 97 new cases are reported from 12 states- Lagos (46), Kwara (12), Rivers (11), Adamawa (4), Niger (4), Ogun (4), Osun (4), Ekiti (3), Imo (3), Kaduna (3), Plateau (2), FCT (1).

The breakdown in the tweet of the NCDC shows that the 97 cases were from 12 different states. Lagos State recorded the highest number of cases with 46. Kwara State followed with 12 cases while Rivers State had 11 cases. 138 people recovered, which brings the recoveries up to 48,569 from 48,431. Three new deaths were recorded.
