rentAcock: Agreed. Ever since I lost 90k back in 2010 to a local Neighborhood bet naso my eye clear after that encounter. It's sweet when winning but when you lose and you don't have self control, you'll just be on a downward spiral. God save those who have turned addicts. Better quit before it ruins you. 3 Likes |

I've never liked betting because it's a convoluted way to dash somebody your money. Business, agents, and governments are collective massive revenue from betting... where's the money coming from? From all the losers that hope day after day that their turn will come. If everybody eventually won, there'd be no revenue in betting... think about it. 2 Likes |

Simplyleo:Most betters are not smart enough to do this. some don't even own a bank account or email address. |
Re: Betting Companies In Kaduna Urge State Government To Lift Ban On Betting Shops by nextstep(m): 6:06pm On Sep 21, 2020 |
Minsk24: Agreed, but do you mean the people employed by betting, or the betters? If it's the latter, I would disagree: the revenue for betting businesses come from people who play. For every winner, there are at least 100 losers. If different people win each day, it would mean they lost (on average) for 100 days, only to win that 1 day. Why do all that since your outcome is (on average) the same as keeping your money in a bank? It's worse, because you pay a portion of your earnings as profit to the betting company and tax to government. I understand the thrill and the opportunity to hammer, but for all but a very few, it's a cleverly disguised money-siphoning scheme. |
