I could remember when Buhari just got elected in 2015.There was propaganda going on that the local refineries have started working.Monies running into billions were being released for maintenance.It was punch newspaper that opened their yansh that the refineries were still lying idle and not working despite Buhari's claim that the local refineries were in good shape.The billions have gone into private pockets. Only in Nigeria, my dear professor. However in Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Mexico, Algeria, Kuwait, UAE, Iran, etc, all OPEC countries like Nigeria, government is successfully running refineries in those countries. those refineries we're conduit pipes of siphoning public funds especially by buhari's cronies, how will he explain the bogus budget on them in the last five years including the subsidy scam only to now realize it's futile to have spent so much on these facilities? it's a means if embezzling public funds and I repeat this regime is most culpable than any ever in the scam of oil refining and subsidy |

The rejection of the APC at the just concluded Edo polls is a rude awakening for the party of crooks & liars, Nigerians now know better! Governments can run refineries, that’s not the problem. All these ppl want is sell all our assets to themselves. Govt in Algeria, Iran, Russia, china and many of countries are running refineries but ours can't . When the fund is already available it doesn't take more than 3 year to build a refinery. Niger did it in 3 years. The world largest refinery in India was built in 3 years. But here corruption won't let anything work. Even Dangote is now taking over 5 years to build his
