Mikelarteta:And the damage the PDP did to Nigeria and Nigerian psyche is being hailed and asking them to come back. Except u re economical with d truth not to realise that the free for all of PDP administration plunged Nigeria into recession something NOI warned about in 2014, even the epileptic power supply we re experiencing now is d handwork of PDP to extent that a clause was put on the contract that FG would pay Disco $8B should they revoke it. What of the P&1D PMB is battling with? The $470M Abuja CCTV camera scam? The ongoing Malabu scandal trial in Italy involving billions of dollars? Are we to deny that oil sold for 4yrs under Gej at more than $100 a barrel and by 2014 Gej was borrowing to pay salaries? Are we to deny also that over 21 stayed were bailed out by PMB and couldn't pay salaries? Are we to deny that Soludo accused Gej govt of wasting over N30T? Or that Gej govt made $305B during his presidency, yet he not only depleted our foreign reserves from $45B to $28B on handing over to PMB? And also increased our debts profile from $30B in 2010 to $67B in 2015? Tell me if all these don't lead to recession. Nitel, Nigeria Airways, Biafra police Pensioners were owed their pensions and in midst of dwindling resources, PMB paid them all. Tell me how PDP govt assuming they got reelected in 2015, would have steered Nigeria from recession judging from the afformetioned problems then coupled with a drop in oil to $23 a barrel and Niger Delta Avengers bombing oil intallations. Plz tell me

BOFREJO: In other words, you are saying “we will not term INEC credible if the outcome of Ondo governorship election does favor PDP”. You are nothing but a partisan ignoramus. I say: Well done to PMB for the non partisan leadership and for keeping federal might away from the election. Very much unlike OBJ. Well done to the leadership of INEC for organizing a relatively free and fair election. There is always room for improvement Well done To the Police Zonal AIG and the State Police Commissioner for staying away from partisan politics. Keep it up. Well done to Obaseki. His statement that he would rather lose the election than people lose their lives is noble. History will remember you as it will remember the noble GEJ. Well done to PDP for a fantastic campaign. “EDO IS NOT LAGOS” was a masterstroke just like “O TO GE” of Kwara. Again well done to PMB and Leadership of APC for accepting the result of the election and congratulating Obaseki and PDP. That is the way to grow our democracy. I pray that all parties will learn to accept defeat gracefully. Mostly importantly, well done to EDO people for the egalitarian approach, ignoring political affiliations and not buying the bullshit Oshio-pickin was trying to sell. He did not learn from recent history of OBJ failure in trying to sell Atiku (that he damaged) to Nigerians. They, like most Nigerian Politicians, are both so foolishly pompous to the point of believing they can just say anything and we will just foolishly take it hook, line and sinker. 1 Like |

So because PDP won , that foresee INEC on the oath of Glory, Just calm and come 2023 this is just a governorship election , what if its was APC that won, I guess it will be a rigged election , I am non partisan with regards to my comment. |

I think three very important things combined here: 1. Oba of Benin warned both sides not to partake in violence. 2. Buhari did not apply federal might (mostly because Oshopikin had become persona non-grata) 3. Fear of US visa ban made a few people reconsider. INEC tried, but it won't have stood a chance without the 3 points above. |

The US, UK, EU, UN and the rest of the world should deep their eyes in Nigeria. A Free and fair election is what matters not a party. Free election kill anti-people policy fast. |
