Severe fire explosion rocks Ajuwon area of Iju, Lagos State. The incident happened at exactly 3:30pm this afternoon, Thursday, September 24, 2020.

An eyewitness who broke the news to Ekohotblog.com said the explosion was from a gas plant in Ajuwon area, close to Iju, Lagos.

Although we have not confirmed the number of casualties recorded from the incident, but the videos sent to us shows that some people have sustained injuries.

Confirming the incident, the spokesperson for the Lagos State Emergency Agency, Nosa Okunbor, said, “LASEMA Response Team is at Cele Bus Stop, Iju Ishaga.

There is a gas explosion. Operation ongoing,” he added. Ekohotblog will deliver you more update shortly…..
